Bright Star Musical

Bright Star is a heartwarming musical based off of a true story that happened in 1904 in Asheville NC.  Steve Martin and Edie Brickell teamed up to write this beautiful score. Come hear this amazing music and touching story of a young woman who becomes a journalist in the 1940's and her life and hardships as she grows up in the 1920's. The cast recording in 2017 was nominated for a Grammy award for Best Musical Theatre Album.  The story has mature subject matter.
