The composers of Dresden were among the most prolific and gifted writers of the 18th century. Their musical influence has educated the ears and taste of countless composers and performers through the centuries, yet many of their names have been all but forgotten. PHB will delve into this treasure trove of gems by composers including Zelenka, Pisendel, Schütz, Hasse and Heinichen in pieces featuring both instrumental and vocal works.
