Come and shoot in the M1 State Championship and/or attend the end of season Pig Roast right after the match.
Pig roast will be starting between noon and 1pm and is open to competeters as well as Chicopee Sportsmen's Club members and their guests. Get your tickets early as the price will go up on 10/13.
TIME: Squadding begins at 8am. First Relay to the line at 9am.

PLACE: Chicopee Sportsmen's Club, 381R Batchelor St., Granby, MA 01033
ENTRIES: Relays will fill in on first-registered, first choice basis,
including registration on the day of the match. Will run as many relays as needed.
TARGETS: Chicopee Sportsmen's Club uses Shotmarker Electronic Targets. Competitors
should bring a Wi-Fi-capable device, such as a cellphone or tablet, to use as a monitor while
shooting and scoring.
RIFLE TYPE: This is an AS-ISSUED M1 Garand match. All rifles must conform to Rule 5.2.2 of
the CMP Games Rifle and Pistol Competition Rules, 13th Edition, 2026.
COURSE OF FIRE: 30-Shot (A Course) John C. Garand Match conforming to Rule 5.6.2 of the
CMP Games Rifle and Pistol Competition Rules, 13th Edition, 2026.
5 sighters + 10 Record Shots, Prone, 15 minutes
10 Record Shots, Prone from Standing, 80 seconds
10 Record Shots, Standing/Offhand, 10 Minutes
NOTE: The rapid-fire string requires starting from a standing position. Per Rule 4.6.4 of the
CMP Games Rifle and Pistol Competition Rules, 13th Edition, 2026, “Competitors who are 70
years of age or older or competitors who have a physical or medical condition or impairment
that prevents them from standing or changing from standing to the firing position may request
permission from the Range Officer to begin rapid-fire stages in the firing position. These
competitors are eligible to win awards in CMP Games matches, except that to win overall match
winner awards...competitors must start rapid-fire stages from standing.
SAFETY: The match will conform with the Range Safety Rules of Chicopee Sportsmen's Club
and the rules in Section 2.0 of the CMP Games Rifle and Pistol Competition Rules, 13th Edition,
2026.
