About this event

On Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1600 hours/4:00 PM, VETcare will proudly host their First Annual VETFEST benefit concert. This concert will be held at the Salem Armory Auditorium and will feature:

All proceeds will support the continued operation of VETcare, a non-profit 501(c)(3) service organization that provides a variety of supportive services for Veterans in Marion and Polk counties by way of four separate programs that collectively provide transitional housing for Veterans experiencing homelessness; provisions of household items for recently housed Veterans as well as case management and linkages to other supportive programs; vocational support for previously unhoused Veterans by way of resume-building assistance, work clothing, transportation to interviews, and life-skills education to promote self-sufficiency; and case management, peer support, and enriching activities for Veterans who are experiencing a low to medium-risk of suicidal ideation.
