About this event
Join the Coastal Conservation Association of California (CCA California) on April 30th, 2026 to honor Dr. Barbara Block, American marine biologist and Charles & Elizabeth Prothro Professor of Biology in Marine Sciences at the Stanford University Hopkins Marine Station, as the 2026 Anthony Hsieh Conservation Award winner. This conservation dinner is a major fundraiser for CCA California, one of California's only advocacy groups fighting for the right to fish in the Golden State.
The Anthony Hsieh Conservation Award is given each year by the Coastal Conservation Association of California (CCA California) to an individual who has supported sportfishing in California and has made meaningful contributions toward the protection, restoration, and enhancement of our marine resource.
The 2026 Anthony Hsieh Conservation Dinner will be held at The Grand in Long Beach.
