About this event
Join us at Bechdel Project for a staged reading of Megan Medley's new Cemetery Play, featuring live music by Alec Safy on upright bass.
Doors open just after 6pm and performance will run from 6:30-8:15pm
Stick around to hang with us after if ya like - we have the space until 9pm :)
Cemetery Play follows three strangers who are supernaturally stuck in a cemetery together and must persuade one another to each confront their own grief in order to get out. The piece investigates complicated questions of mortality, bodily autonomy, and the allegiance we owe to family. We will turn Sartre's 'hell is other people' on its head.
