Ger returns to the wonderful Fennelly's of Callan for a cosy early winter concert on Saturday 9th of Novemeer, with his stringed instruments and shruti box in tow. Last gig was a glorious sunny sunday afternoon and this gig promises to be no-less enthralling to anyone looking for original songs and stunning instrumentation. Book early to avoid disappoint,ent, this promises to be a gig to remember.

 

Drawing from the wells of traditional and contemporary folk, Ger Wolfe has been a gentle and consistent voice on the Irish folk-roots scene, with a subtle way of weaving his magical music into the heart of every listener. Playing spirited and heartfelt music, all at once lyrical, melodic and poetic. Prepare to be bedazzled by his unmistakable voice and inimitable guitar playing.

Ger is currently recording a new album  “Ar Imeall; Songs from the edge of memory-(Freeman’s Ballyvourney Collection/ Amhráin ó Bailebhúirne)” a collection of songs from one of our most important collections of traditional song.Due for release in Spring 2024
