About this event
Explore the Lower Grand River Water Trail with LGROW on Saturday, May 30 from 10 am - 12 pm! Rent a kayak, or bring your own boat, and spend the morning out on the mighty Grand River. Please register for this event to reserve a kayak or to let us know if you will be bringing your own boat.
Float from Grand River Riverfront Park in Lowell to the Grand River Public Boat Launch in Ada and enjoy calm water, an easy two-hour paddle, and a free shuttle ride back to your car.
After the float, we will gather at Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery. The patio will be open and food and drinks will be available to purchase.

Please read on for all the details!
Arrive at 9:30 am at the Grand River Riverfront Park located at 12570 Grand River Dr SE, Lowell, MI 49331. Park your car and gather your gear. Kayak rentals come with a personal floatation device and a paddle.
Launch time is 10 am.
Float approximately 2 hours down to the next stop on the Lower Grand River Water Trail - the Grand River Public Boat Launch in Ada (M-21/Fulton Street), located at 621 Fulton St, Ada, MI 49301.
You can drop off rental kayaks at this location and a shuttle will take you back upriver to your car. The shuttle ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Big thanks to Bill & Paul's Sporthaus for providing kayaks for rent at a reduced rate!
Please note that if you bring your own boat, the shuttle can not transport your boat, but we are happy to bring paddlers back upriver to Lowell.
