This story-driven walking tour uncovers a side of Corvallis most pass without knowing.  Along the way, you’ll discover how Corvallis became unexpectedly famous in World War II, what it was like to live in a Timber town, and how neighbors built homes, businesses, and entire lives without the conveniences we take for granted today.

Come downtown and see the way locals once lived.  Expect surprising connections, local lore, and plenty of “I had no idea” moments as we trace more than a century of transformation on the streets you thought you knew.

We'll launch from the temperature-controlled lobby of the Courtyard Marriott - 1st & Adams. The total route is just under a mile with lots of protection from the sky along the way.
