About this event
Join us for an unforgettable dinner and historic announcement. Enjoy a private viewing of the new Friendly Fire Incident Exhibit in the George Washington Gallery and rare opportunity to see the original copy of Washington's "Remarks."
An Evening of Discovery is the culmination of archaeological fieldwork conducted over the past four summers at the presumed George Washington "Friendly Fire" Incident site - the last place George Washington was under fire before the American Revolution and where he said his life was in the most peril.
The evening begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before guests dine on a sumptuous dinner by Myriam's Table while listening to the historic announcement and remarks by experts in the field of archaeology and history.
