2024 HWA Christmas Tours

Please join us for a Christmas themed tour of the Historic Wendover Airfield. The holidays were meager during the raging world conflict, but those on the home front and abroad did their best to spread Christmas cheer. Experience a 1940s Christmas as we visit several decorated historic sites around the airfield. Your guide will share Christmas stories from those who served at Wendover and others from the time period. Be sure to bring your camera and wear comfortable shoes.

Tour cost is $15 per person (all ages). This ticket also includes museum entrance. Please meet at the Brinkman Club/Museum just north of the control tower at the selected time. The tour will begin promptly at the selected time, so please be a little early. Please note that the museum closes at 4:00pm, so arrive early for the 3:30pm tour to see the museum beforehand. The tour will run approximately one and a half hours.

Please be aware that two of three buildings we visit on the tour are not wheelchair accessible at this time. The 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm tours each day will utilize our tour van that has a mobility lift.

Monday—Friday 10 AM to 4 PM • Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM • Closed Sunday (Closed on Nov 28 - Dec 1 for Thanksgiving)
