Meet and Greet with General Lafayette

Join us at the BBHC for an exclusive event commemorating the 200th anniversary of General Lafayette’s grand 1824-1825 tour of the United States and his May 29, 1825, visit to Braddock’s Field to see where his mentor, George Washington had fought 70 years earlier.

Meet and greet General Lafayette portrayed by actor Mike Marra of the Freeport Festival Theatre and the Honorary French Consul of Pittsburgh Mathias Barlat after they arrive by boat on the Monongahela River. Included in the evening’s program is a brief historic walking tour to key points of interest including the statue of George Washington and the Lafayette Tour trail sign.

Nonmembers: $20 per person for non-members
