About this event

In a combination of a dozen acrobatic disciplines, theater, and clown, THREADS explores the importance of human connection. While each of us is composed of mated spiral strands of coded acids, we’re left to code our own meaning into the narrative of the here and now, easily losing our way. On the voyage of life we surround ourselves with people who become a part of our search for this meaning: accompanying, buoying, challenging, and delighting us. The diverse cast of THREADS — seven performers and one musician — confront the difficulties and joys found when we associate, relate, and communicate with others. Uniting their acrobatic and musical prowess, the performers play and collaborate, clash and harmonize, bringing to light their journeys of rupture and relationship — all with the help of a 35-foot wall of rope.

*October 16 is a preview performance. This means the show will technically still be in rehearsal. There could be the possibility of short holds in the performance or small technical tweaks, but otherwise it will hold the same high production standard as every other performance.

**Monday, November 3, is Industry Night! Fellow performers, do you feel like you never get to see any shows because you're always working at the same time? Do you have this Monday off? Probably, right? Join us! Cheer loudly!

***The Wednesday, November 5, show will be masks-required to encourage and support the health and safety of our circus community members who are immunocompromised. If you attend this performance, you must wear a mask in the theater. Performers will not always be able to wear a mask but appropriate distance will be observed wherever possible.
