Workshop: Positive activities for kids today; investing in our tomorrow

Workshop to Promote Afterschool Opportunities

Positive Activities for Kids Today; Investing in our Tomorrow

This workshop is intended for representatives from school districts, after school and summer program providers, community leaders, and elected officials to work together to plan and implement increased involvement of school aged kids in out of school time (OST) programs.

Washington County needs more opportunities for kids to participate in positive programs during non-school time.  While many programs exist, not all kids are able to participate.  Washington County Kids is offering a workshop for representatives from schools, afterschool providers, elected officials, and community leaders to explore ways to expand opportunities for every kid to have  a positive experience during non-school time.

This workshop is supported by a grant from Washington County’s Health and Human Services Division.

Let’s work together to help kids in Washington County participate in safe, positive activities that benefit us all.
