About this event
Join us for a fun steinholding competition during the Sept. 21 Kent Oktoberfest! Ten people will compete in each heat, males against males and females against females. 21 years of age and older only. Judge will be Katja Derrickson, 2023 U.S. Steinholding Association state champion and Ohio Steinholding State record holder for women (3 minutes and 38 seconds).
Purchase tickets in advance for 3pm or 5pm, then show up at the Hometown Bank Plaza stage at least 10 minutes before the competition start time to check in. Participants will receive a 1L mug filled with beer, and will get to keep the mug. Prizes will be awarded!
