Tea Talk: Being George’s Mom, The Story of Mary Washington

Join us for a delightful program about Mary Washington in honor of her son George’s 294th birthday!

Hear the intriguing story about the mother of our nation’s first president from Fort Ligonier’s Director of Collections and Exhibitions Meghan Budinger while enjoying a hot cup of tea, Mrs. Washington’s favorite gingerbread dessert and delicious tea sandwiches.

Attendees will also see a rare selection of archaeological tea wares discovered at Fort Ligonier.
