Vienna Wireless Society’s 50th WINTERFEST matches Hams, Makers and Electronic Enthusiasts with Vendors on Sunday, March 15th, 2026 for a traditional Hamfest
Location: Oakton High School, 2900 Sutton Road, Vienna Virginia, 22181
Operating Hours: Tailgating and Indoor Market Fair open at 8AM EDT ~ WINTERFEST Closes at 2PM EDT.
General Admission, no raffle: $12 on-line /$15 at door (Students 17 and under are admitted free)
Raffle Ticket $10 You do NOT need to be present to win! We will deliver or ship to the lower 48.

Ham Radio License Exams: The Arlington Amateur Radio Club is providing Amateur Radio exams at WINTERFEST starting at 10am in room 1821. See https://www.w4wvp.org/exam.html for additional information. Check-in with the WINTERFEST Reception table in the Oakton HS cafeteria for directions to the exam classroom location. Please pre-register before coming to the exam location at https://www.w4wvp.org/exam2.html However, walk-ins are allowed.

Scouts Radio Merit Badge – VWS is waiving the WINTERFEST admission fee for registered scouts seeking the Radio Merit Badge and one accompanying adult. To attend, you must pre-register for the Radio Merit Badge using the following link and complete the prerequisites noted at the link. The Radio Merit Badge session will begin at 9AM in room 1825.
