DIA visit, "Guests of Honor: Armor as Fashion"

Hour-long discussion of a 17th century painting and sections of a suit of armor that is depicted in the painting.

The items in the exhibit are on loan from the Musee des Beaux-Arts of Valenciennes, France and a distingished private collection in Spain.  The exhibition reunites the portrait with the armor it depicts for the first time in over two centuries.

The discussion at the DIA follows a presentation to the Senior Mens Club on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025.
