Ger Wolfe live in Concert-Album launch

Join Ger for a special seaside gig in beautiful Ballycotton at The Blackbird. Ger was a regular at The Blackbird some few years back and can't wait to return again to launch the new album' Songs From Freeman's Ballyvourney Collection' and expect songs from his previous offerings including 'The Curra Road', 'The Lark of Mayfield'. 'Hello Gorgeous' and many more besides.

The new album will be available on the night in CD format which also includes a free download of the music and the artwork.Not just for lovers of Irish, this album is 'full of hidden gems unheard of for over a century', we are talking about old music that our great-grandparents knew, before the advent of the ballad boom and the train , the twentieth century and the mobile, songs from before the modern age, songs that were definitely not on spotify! As well as a shot of songs from the new album multi-instrumentalist Ger will also be bringing his very own brand of song that defies description, veering heartily from the rhapsodic to the melancholic and touching every base in between. There'll even be room for singing along if you feel up to it.

Special guests on the night, opening with some of their own material will be Gráinne and Craig.
