EVIDENCED-BASED STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING GROUP BEHAVIOR

Session Description:  This training will focus on using Positive Behavior Instruction & Support (PBIS) strategies in the after school setting. Participants will learn a few simple strategies to encourage and increase "expected behavior," as well as tips for how to respond when "unexpected behaviors" arise.  There will also be time provided to talk in groups and share ideas across settings.

Speaker Bio: Lindsey Pratt is a school psychologist and Professional Learning Coach at NW Regional ESD.  Prior to the ESD, she served as a school psychologist, counselor and PBIS coach in the Tigard Tualatin School District, helping school teams develop systems for supporting students with behavior and social emotional health.
