Musical Theatre Workshop Session 1

Deertrees Theatre presents a “Musical Theater Workshop” for theatre-loving kids!

Students will act out scenes, learn dance and sing songs, all taught by an award-winning, triple-threat Broadway veteran Rick Faugno, best known for his portrayal of Frankie Vallie in Jersey Boys!  (You may not know this, but Frankie Vallie also played on the Deertrees Theatre stage in 1939!)  While doing so, the students will learn the proper technique in each discipline, while having loads of fun!
 

Students will progress from rehearsal to performance, in a safe, nurturing and non-competitive environment. Musical Theater students do not need to audition for a place in the class or for a part in the performance.  Every child will receive a role in the show based on individual aptitude and what will best suit their comfort level.
