About this event
We are excited to announce the 2024 Tribal Opioid & Substance Use Conference focusing on enhancing collaborations in addressing opioid and substance use disorders in tribal communities through federal, non-federal, and tribal partnerships. This two-day event will be held on November 19-20, 2024 at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino in Maricopa, Arizona.
The conference will provide a space for community health professionals to network, discuss their concerns, successes and challenges, and provide best practices related to substance misuse and abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery.
The Tribal Opioid & Substance Use Conference will include the following tracks:
•Prevention and Recovery: Sharing interventions or research on effective prevention andrecovery strategies, especially those with tribal communities
•Clinical: Sharing clinical interventions addressing SUD and OUD, especially successful orinnovative programs in tribal communities
•Data: presenting federal, statewide and/or tribal data related to SUD, OUD, overdoses,Overdose Fatality Review, etc.
•Integration and Partnerships: sharing examples of integration of tribal and non-tribal groups,programs, etc.
