GNS Presents: Charlotte's Web

The Middle School of Glenlyon Norfolk School is excited to present the classic story of Charlotte's Web.

Wilbur is desperate not to be made into bacon and ham! When the little pig is born on the Arable’s farm, the very caring Fern saves the runt and makes an adorable new friend, but their friendship is in jeopardy, given the truth of what happens to pigs in the winter. Thanks to the Zuckermans, Wilbur has a new home and a new community of friends who work together to keep him safe and thriving. Charlotte, the spider, in particular, goes out of her way to protect her friend at great expense to herself, showing everyone the depth of true friendship. Wilbur develops courage through the course of his adventures and learns important lessons about the power each individual has to make a difference.
