About this event
Escape the dreary Seattle winter to the Forest of Arden, where love gets complicated, identities get confused, and nobody is quite who they seem.
When Rosalind is banished from court, she flees to the forest disguised as a young man, accompanied by her fiercely loyal cousin Celia and the sharp-tongued fool Touchstone. There, she discovers Orlando, the very man she's fallen for, who's also taken refuge among the trees, hanging terrible love poems on every branch he can find.
What follows is Shakespeare's most delightful romantic comedy: a world where women dress as men who pretend to be women, where fools speak wisely and wise men speak foolishly, and where the forest becomes a place of transformation, self-discovery, and second chances. With multiple weddings, witty banter, wrestling matches, and one of Shakespeare's greatest heroines at its center, As You Like It asks: what does it really mean to love someone? And how do we let go of who we were to become who we're meant to be?
