What: A Pre-Fest Social 

When: Saturday, March 28th, 1:00-5:00 p.m. (official hunt begins at 2:00 p.m.)

Where: Bishop Arts District

*Scavenger Hunt begins and ends at The Wild Detectives- 314 W Eighth St, Dallas, TX 75208

Get ready to explore, laugh, and compete your way through one of Dallas’ most colorful neighborhoods- and the home of Dallas Indie Comedy Fest 2026! A Very Indie Scavenger Hunt is a playful race through the streets of Bishop Arts District and is by the Indie Lab Creative team, producers of Dallas Indie Comedy Fest.

Teams of up to three (1-3 allowed on each team) will race the clock (and each other) to track down iconic murals, hidden artwork, beloved local shops, neighborhood quirks, and a few surprises along the way. Along the route, teams will complete 20 photo and video challenges and race back to homebase to claim all the glory 🏆 🤳🤩

Serving as a small fundraiser while also kicking off the two-week countdown to Dallas Indie Comedy Fest 2026, this event is equal parts adventure, fest jest, and community hang. Whether you’re hyper-competitive or just here for the vibes, it’s a great excuse to explore, be goofy with friends, and celebrate indie comedy in Dallas.

🥇1st Place: Each member of the top winning team will take home one (1) weekend pass to DICF 2026- plus, of course, eternal scavenger hunt glory!!

🥈2nd Place: Each member of the team placing 2nd will take home one (1) DICF hat + one (1) exclusive DICF2026 tote (tote not available for purchase- ooh la la!)

🥉3rd Place: Each member of the team placing 3rd will a merch pack filled with all your indie faves!

Tech requirements: Teams will check in and be provided the hunting list at 2:00pm. Participants will be asked to upload scavenger hunt/challenge completion evidence (photos & videos) via Instagram, Facebook, and Google Form. 

The small print: $15 entry fee per team (1-3 players). Ticketstripe charges a small processing fee. This event is rain or shine; no refunds. Exceptions will be considered for any 1st place winner who may have previously purchased a Weekend Badge or VIP Fest Badge. Option to upgrade Weeknd Badge to VIP Fest Badge will be made available to 1st place team.
