About this event
In June, our guest tour presenter is local-celebrity James Cassidy, affectionately called Oregon’s “rock star scientist.” He’ll add some context to few locations at 2nd and Madison, including seeing what remains of some of the amazing architectural elements in the Hotel Corvallis lobby.
This 45 minute, free tour is different every month and happens on the 1st Friday. Each month Engage Corvallis unveils a sneak preview of research being done for future tours. Think "hot off the notepad" on its way to being hot off the presses!
We launch from the temperature controlled Marriott lobby, connecting you to local stories as we explore an invisible side of downtown Corvallis. You'll also have an opportunity to engage with fellow learning, story, or history enthusiasts, and make new friends who share your love for exploring our city.
Mark your calendars, and get ready to meet your streets. Come experience a new side of Corvallis and build your local cred with others!
Tickets are free, with an option to support local storykeeping if you have the capacity.
