About this event
Come down to Bolsa Chica State Beach on Saturday May 2, 2026 (6:00am) and learn a variety of techniques for catching surf fish with sand crabs, worms and other live baits. We will meet for about 20 minutes and go over rigging and fishing technique then make our way down to the sand and do some fishin'. Donation of $15 (per angler/seminar) includes bait and instruction--Children under the age of 16 are FREE and need not register. Class size is limited and will fill quickly. A parking fee of $15 will be charged unless you present an annual State Park pass.
The week before the event you will receive detailed information on our location and a list of items to bring. We'll see you there!
