SMCB Holiday Dinner Dance

Our annual Senior Men’s Club of Birmingham Holiday Dinner Dance will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at the San Marino Club in Troy, located on the north side of Big Beaver Road between Rochester and John R. Our evening will begin as usual with a social reception at 5:30 PM, featuring an antipasto table of chips, cheese, crackers, veggies, dip, punch and a cash bar. We will be seated at 6:45 PM for announcements and introductions, followed by dinner at 7 PM and dancing thereafter until 10:15 PM. Free valet parking service will be provided.

Table reservation forms will be available at the Special Events table beginning Friday, October 31. A completed Table Reservation Form must be submitted for all attendees (from 1-8 persons), so please pick one up at a Friday morning meeting or request one from Jim King at 248-645-9388.

Tickets for this event are $75 (checks only) per person and will be on sale beginning October 31. There will be no printed tickets, you will receive your tickets via email through Ticketstripe once you have paid. If you have any questions concerning your Ticketstripe ticket(s), you can contact John Willis at 734-626-5989. Reserved tables for groups up to a maximum of (8) are available upon request using the table reservation form. We will arrange the table seating for couples and/or singles. Please consider inviting your friends and relatives to join you. We ask that groups reserving tables please designate ONE person (if at all possible) to collect ticket fees for the group and make ONE payment for the table when submitting their Reservation

Dinner will be served family style (all you can eat), with three entrées passed around at each table. Entrée choices will include Tenderloin of Beef with mushrooms, Chicken Piccata with capers and artichoke hearts, and Baked Orange Roughy with lemon garnish, along with side dishes of peas with mushrooms and buttered redskin potatoes. A pasta starter of Farfalle Alfredo and a mixed green salad will also be served. Dinner will conclude with a Raspberry Sundae dessert. Gluten-free and vegetarian alternative entrées are available upon prior request via your Table Reservation Form.

A cash bar will be available throughout the evening with cocktails, beer, and wine (soft drinks, coffee and tea are free). The San Marino Club will be festively decorated in a Christmas motif with flowers and candles at each table. Tony DiMaria and his 12 member TNT Big Band ensemble (with vocalist) will entertain us throughout the evening, opening with a salute to the Armed Forces followed by a sing-along and seasonal favorites for our listening and dancing pleasure; and the SMCB Chorus will serenade us with songs of the season. As at our previous parties, the US Marines will be collecting unwrapped unused Toys for Tots, so please bring a toy to donate.
