NAACP CA/HI Day at the Capitol 2024

The NAACP CA/HI State Conference will have its annual Day At The Capitol on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel (1230 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814) to encourage the civic participation of our local branches through direct engagement in the legislative process. This event will gather NAACP members from across the state to discuss priority legislation and its impact on our communities.

We are in the process of scheduling meetings with Legislators and/or designated Legislative staff (including those from whose district you reside), from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We expect a high participation rate with more than 150 members and hope you will attend.
