Memory challenges are one of the most common and frustrating symptoms for individuals recovering from traumatic brain injury (TBI). As medical speech therapists, we play a crucial role in helping patients regain functional memory skills for daily life. This presentation will explore evidence-based strategies to enhance memory, improve patient outcomes, and maximize independence. We will discuss models of memory, different types of memory, and memory strategy training.
