Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps - A Live Radio Theater Performance

The newest theater troupe to hit the Illinois Valley, Pop-Up Players Ltd. will take to the stage of The 122 Club with their debut performance of a live radio play spoofing a classic Alfred Hitchcock spy thriller !

The 25 characters in this hilarious script are voiced and “brought to life” by only 4 performers who stepped right out of 1936 dressed in retro wardrobe and utilizing “man-made” sound effects that would have been common place for a studio audience broadcast from the 1930’s.

So make plans to join us at 7PM on Sat. March 23rd as we transform The 122 Club ( GREAT food & drinks!!) into the fictitious Chicago radio station “WHEW” for 90 minutes of laughs & suspense as we “broadcast live” with “The 39 Steps - On The Airwaves!”
