About this event
Please join the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) for an in person Financial Management training designed to help public water systems strengthen long-term planning, operations and financial sustainability.
The training will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (MST).
Budgeting and Financial Management for Small Water Systems

Hosted by the ADEQ Capacity Development Program, this in person training features practical, applied guidance across seven one-hour sessions:

- Identifying Revenues and Expenses
- Best Practices for Structuring a Budget
- Budget Structuring Interactive Exercise
- Best Practices for Pricing a Budget
- Pricing a Budget Interactive Exercise
- Monitoring Financial Performance
This training is designed for public water system owners, managers, administrators and board members. Operators are also welcome to attend.
