Sherab will speak on the Four Immeasurables but has stated that he will leave ample time for questions and answers as people like to know about his experiences of a long-term retreat.
So please come armed with questions.

Beneath is a brief biography of his life in his own words.

'My current monk name is Sherab Paljor in the Rime lineage.
Before 2016 I lived as Robert Betonte having grown up in California. I spent over forty years in San Francisco as an artist/artisan/building contractor. From my teen years I always read and studied widely on many topics including the world's religions. I consider myself spiritually oriented but opposed to organised religions. I intuitively respected the teachings of the Buddha especially his ultimate rejection of extreme asceticism. In 1999, age 54, circumstances arose that Ied me to my first Tibetan Buddhist master. From then on, I have studied and practiced in those lineages as much as possible.  In 2012, I removed myself to live in India and Nepal for 5 years and then France for over 8 years to concentrate on practice.  Although I am not much of a meditator or practitioner, having started late in life, I have met a large number of teachers, many of whom appear to be enlightened masters.  Although I have not studied intensively, I probably retain a bit of what they taught and can parrot it back to some degree, at least its essence, though without much textual reference.'
