About this event
Cold Mountain Music Festival features top-notch musical talent, amazing local food & drink vendors, family-friendly activities, and more - all in one of the most pristine settings imaginable! The centerpiece of our nearly 300-acre campus is mile-long Lake Logan surrounded by the Shining Rock Wilderness and Pisgah National Forest.
Throughout the weekend, festival goers are encouraged to explore all that our campus has to offer. Enjoy a hike into the Shining Rock Wilderness, soak in some bald eagle spotting by the West Fork of the Pigeon River, or go for a boat ride or swim in the pristine waters of Lake Logan.
We have a fantastic line-up for this year’s festival. Newfound Gap, Vaden Landers, Amanda Anne Platt and the Honeycutters take to the main stage Friday night. Saturday kicks off with the Shedhouse Trio featuring Darren Nicholson followed by Queen Bee and the Honeylovers, Mason Via, and headliner JD Clayton. Kelley and the Cowboys will round at the festival with a Saturday night performance at Celebration Courtyard overlooking the West Fork of the Pigeon River. In between acts on the Main Stage, catch some talented youth musicians from across Western NC on the JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) stage adjacent to the Kids’ Zone, Vendor Village and the Food Trucks / Beer Garden.
All proceeds from the Cold Mountain Music Festival support Lake Logan’s Retreat Center, Camp Henry, and the Outdoor School. This includes summer camp scholarships, program development, maintenance of our beautiful campus and historic facilities, and our Hurricane Helene restoration efforts.
Gates open at 10am on Friday. Come on out and join the fun!
