The Effect

A play that tells the story of two volunteers who fall in love during a drug trial, wondering if their sudden connection is a side effect of the drug. At the same time, neither of them can know for certain whether they are on the placebo. Is love just chemicals in the brain or is it something that will forever lay beyond the reach of science?
