About this event

While we are sold out online, there will be some tickets available at the door on the day of the concert!

--------------------------------------------

The Seattle Festival Orchestra is pleased to offer this reduced-length Family-Friendly concert, where children can experience a full symphony concert at our smaller venue, without their adults needing to worry about model behavior. Some audience chatter is expected; dancing in the aisles is encouraged!

The first two works on the program are by Seattle teen composer Brannon Warn-Johnston. She takes the audience on a journey into the wilderness, where she goes backpacking with her violin and staff paper, to experience scorching heat, cool waters and hope. Completing the program is SFO’s own Liam Frye-Mason playing the beautiful and melodic Cello Concerto by Kurt Atterberg, followed by Sibelius’s triumphant Symphony No 2.

Note: our the family-friendly concerts are reduced in length to approximately 45 minutes of music (with an intermission). Please expect some audience chatter! For tickets to our regular concert at Town Hall, please visit https://ticketstripe.com/events/6895105908724941
