Explore the wonderful world of insects and study these amazing creatures. In a half day camp, children will be introduced to the major groups of insects, insect anatomy, and then will become entomologists, many of whom work with insect collections. Utilizing their insect identification skills, campers will collect insects and make note of their findings. They will learn about the study of insects in museum collections and practic organizing insects and making a nature journal like they are preparing an insect collection. All insects will be safely released at the end of camp. Ages 6+.

Option to bring lunch and stay from 12:00-12:30pm for lunch if enrolled in afternoon Fantastic Fish Camp.
