About this event
Join us for The Science of Surya Kriya, a comprehensive workshop led by Yogesh Cutler on July 13 & 14 from 8:00 - 11:30 AM at Elk Haven Wellness Center. Surya Kriya is an ancient Hatha Yoga practice designed as a holistic process for health, wellness, and complete inner well-being. The practice, whose name combines "surya" (sun) and "kriya" (inner energy process), activates the solar plexus, increases solar heat in the body (Samat prana), and balances the left and right energy channels, leading to physical stability and mental stillness.
Session Breakdown:
- The workshop spans 7 hours, divided into two 3.5-hour sessions over two days.
- Participants will learn the practice in depth, explore the science behind Surya Kriya, and gain the knowledge to continue independently.
- Additional topics include yogic food sciences and creating a conducive practice environment.
Post-Workshop Support:
- Two 1-hour correction/guided sessions will be provided in the following weeks to ensure participants understand the practice.
