About this event
Calling all beer nerds and history buffs - let's celebrate Corvallis Beer Week! Embark on a one hour deep dive into local beer legacy, tracing the way from ancient ales to today’s craft beer & food pairing scene.
Our adventure is a walking tour visiting key beer history sights. The history of local beer brewing is really the history of soils, colonization, floods, unstable infrastructure, labor issues, racism, and prohibition. Uncover the stories behind iconic brewing landmarks in Corvallis!
We'll end our journey at Swan Dive Sandwiches + Bar, where you'll learn how their Beer Week Monday special - smoked sausages and pretzels - connects to Corvallis' beer history.
Join us for history on tap - starting from the temperature-controlled lobby of the Courtyard Marriott, with shelter from the sky (if needed!) along the route.
