Technology has come a long way, and so has the media we consume. New platforms to meet and see people (all parts of people) pop up every day. How do these developments in media impact our pursuit of intimacy? How do products like dating apps, short-form dating entertainment made for social media, subscription-based adult content apps, or pornography shape the way we understand intimacy- the way we recognize it, maintain it, and nurture it? What does it truly mean to be intimate both in matters of the flesh and beyond. Let’s Do It is an experimental dance theatre piece that seeks to explore these questions.
Performed by Sam Christie, Kat de Mesa, Journey Jones, Jaden Singh, Laurynn Starkey, Lucas Sun, Pasha, Megan Zammit
