About this event
Happy New Year! Every year many new buildings in New York City are being planned, constructed, and finished! We will learn about how NYC’s iconic skyline will be changing in 2026, as well as the process of approval for building something new in the city. After, we will be finishing our own skyscrapers with the most important part–the top! Let’s create our own building spires out of paper, cardboard, and construction materials! All ages welcome.
This is an in-person children’s program that meets at the Skyscraper Museum, 39 Battery Pl.
You must reserve a place for your child/family by clicking the “RSVP” button above. This will forward you to Ticketstripe for registration. After registering, you will receive emails to confirm your attendance through a Google Form (you only need to fill this out once). If you do not confirm attendance by the Friday morning before the program, your places will be canceled. Every child should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Family programs are free! Reservation priority is given to The Skyscraper Museum members. Want to become a member? Winter programs are supported by a Community Partnership with the Battery Park City Authority.
