Calling all wizards and muggles: The Bell Tower School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will once again be opening enrollment for its Mixology 101 course where students will learn will learn how to make their own delicious scratch-made magical potions (aka cocktails for all you Muggles) while also exploring the fundamentals of mixology - history, math, science, art, philosophy, and more - in a fun, engaging, and interactive setting. We will focus on the three core components of any great cocktail - a thoughtfully balanced recipe, choosing quality ingredients, and proper technique. We will provide all the tools you will need to create your concoctions, so all you need to do is bring your curiosity and enthusiasm, and although uniforms are not required, we encourage our students to adorn their finest garb for class. This workshop is taught by Professor Nick Barber, Doctor of Mixology, and resident Bar Manager of Bell Tower Brewing Company. Sharpen your pencils and brandish your wands for this studious course.
Class includes:
- all tools for potion making. Borrowed tools must remain in the classroom.
- Alcoholic or non-alcoholic spirits. Please indicate your preference when purchasing.
- syllabus of recipes, resources and references
- expert instruction
- cocktails will be consumed during class
