Aspire Repertory Theatre Presents: A Christmas Carol

About this event

Aspire Repertory Theatre’s “A Nutcracker Dream” is a new take on the familiar tale. Set in the roaring 1920s, Clara's family is ringing in the New Year when a present leads to a magical journey as she battles tip-toeing Mice, skates with whirling Snow Flakes, and discovers - with the help of the Sugar Plum Fairy- that she still has some growing up to do. Starring Aspire Kinetic Arts students, community members, and professional dance and theatre performers, "A Nutcracker Dream" combines Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite with Tchaikovsky's classic score for a story told with ballet, jazz, tap, and 1920s flare.
