We are so glad to have you!!! Some quick highlights:
- In case you haven’t heard our exciting news; Beginning 2024, FHC Jr Spartan Football and FHC High School Football Boosters have decided to join forces and become one organization, now called, FHC Spartan Nation Football! The purpose of this is to strengthen and solidify resources and outcomes for all of Spartan Football. It is to support the alignment of all components of Spartan Football under one singular vision, identity, and mission.
- We serve Kindergarten through 12th Grade in the Howell Central Attendance Zone
- Tackle football is in the fall, traditionally. We play flag football in the spring. We are part of the Jr GAC and GAC, which feeds the largest and one of the most powerful high school athletic conferences in the state of Missouri
- We have Championship football in our sight. The Head Varsity Coach Malach Radigan is entering his 4th season at the high school. He and his staff have ushered in cultural and philisophical change that has had a ripple effect in the community that can't be mistaken. It is very energizing!
- A new brand of leadership centered firmly around a Core Value system of Servant Leadership, Relentless Effort, and Love.
- Significant increase in both the Jr and high school programs participation, resources, and winning. Resounding support from the community of the rebranded program via sponsorships, game attendance, and spiritwear sales.
- Overwhelmingly positive energy that can be felt throughout the Howell Central community and beyond regarding the football program and its future.
- A state of the art strength training facility, one of the best high school weight rooms in the region. The acquisition of word-class equipment, and plans to get more.
- The successful implementation of award-winning character, leadership, and human development programs at the highschool level. Programs like these are fundamental necessities to any Championship caliber program - any sport, anywhere.
- Exceptional - and intentional - support of the Jr Spartan football program by the high school football program - from admin to coaches to players. This includes summer camps K - 8, 8th grade strength training, HS coaches on the Junior coaches’ rosters, shared resources, deep and daily communication and collaboration, and much more. This is special, and it is working.
- A Jr Spartan Football program that now has 200+ players on its rosters Kindergarten - 8th grade this fall, including a robust team at every grade level. This is triple the roster numbers of just fall 2021. And our juniors are winning.
- A Junior program that is committed to the spirit and practice of developing young athletes with the Howell Central Football philosophies and ideals at heart.
In short, we have stepped resolutely onto the path of Championship Culture development. Not only to win in the moment, but to win over the long haul. Sustainable, meaningful, life-changing winning, on and off the field for all in our community.
Your funds work very hard to help us with our equipment (football is expensive!), resources, training, and making sure we don't have to turn any player away due to financial circumstances.
