Welcome to 2024 Furry Friends 5K event! Furry Friends 5K is a pet-friendly 5k walk/run to raise proceeds that will go to the Greene County Humane Society to help them care for the animals in need. Happy Tails is a pet-friendly socialization event and open house event for pet adoption awareness from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Humane Society of Greene County.
There are two ticket options for this event. The Basic ticket will grant you entry to the event. The Premier ticket grants entry to the event and provides a commemorative T-shirt.
Check-in will begin promptly at 12:00 PM on race day. The event will commence at 1:30 PM. Please ensure you arrive early to allow adequate time to check in with our volunteers.

All proceeds for this event benefit the Greene County Humane Society and the incredible work they do to protect vulnerable animals. The Humane Society team works diligently to provide much-needed shelter, nutrition, veterinary care, and love to animals who have been abandoned, abused, or otherwise find themselves in need of care. This event gives us the opportunity to show support and gratitude to the staff and volunteers for what they do!
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and on a leash.
