About this event

What does the Bible teach the gospel will accomplish in this world? Will people continue to get more and more wicked and the Church will be taken just before things get really bad, or will there actually be victory over sin and the world be made new by the power of the gospel as more and more people believe the gospel? We at Holly Ridge believe God has given us victory and not defeat. We believe that everything in this world belongs to the Trinity, that He is reclaiming it all through the gospel, and that He has placed Jesus Christ as King over all. This is why we are hosting a one-day conference on the doctrine of postmillennialism taught by Dr Kenneth (Ken) Gentry. This is a ticketed event. No tickets will be sold at the door. Please purchase tickets through the ticket link.

Ken is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University (B.A., cum laude, in Biblical Studies), Reformed Theological Seminary (M. Div.), Whitefield Theological Seminary (Th. M.; Th. D., summa cum laude, in New Testament), and also attended Grace Theological Seminary for two years, while a dispensationalist. He has published scores of articles in various periodicals including: Tabletalk, the Chalcedon Report, Westminster Theological Journal, The Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, Criswell Theological Journal, Christianity Today, Christianity & Society, The Banner of Truth, The Presbyterian Journal, Contra Mundum, Christian Statesman, Evangelical Beacon, Ordained Servant, The Fundamentalist Journal, Pulpit Helps, The PCA Messenger, The Freeman, and Antithesis.

The conference will consist of four lectures, an on-site break for lunch, and a Q&A session at the end. Lunch will be provided by Holly Ridge and is included with admission. No accomodations will be made for special requests, allergies, or preferences for lunch. If a church-style fellowship lunch will not suffice, then please plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you there. The four lecture topics are as follows:

1. The Old Testament and Our Hope

2. The New Testament and Our Hope

3. The Great Commission and our Hope

4. Objections to our Hope
