Before she designed Hearst Castle and before she designed Asilomar, visionary architect Julia Morgan's first commission was the North Star House. Follow her life, from Paris into her later years. "Listen in" on conversations that might have taken place between people who were important in her life.
Based on extensive research, Playwright Judith Offer takes us beyond a textbook dissertation of Julia’s amazing accomplishments. The play shows us how Julia Morgan was viewed by others who were influential and supportive in her life’s trajectory.
Meet Julia Morgan as a person, as well as an exceptionally talented architect.
This 5-act play will be read by members of local theatre companies and North Star House volunteers. The cast will participate in a Q&A session following the performance and light refreshments will be served.
