About this event

Colorectal cancer, or CRC, is a disease of the colon or rectum, which are parts of the digestive system. Unlike most cancers, colorectal cancer is often preventable with screening and highly treatable when detected early. Most cases of colorectal cancer occur in people ages 45 and older, but the disease is in increasingly affecting younger people. Patients are considered to have young-onset colorectal cancer if they are diagnosed before they turn 50 years old. The incidence rate of colorectal cancer is rising by about 2% annually in young people. By 2030, researchers predict that colorectal cancer will be the leading cause of cancer deaths in people ages 20-49. Researchers have not concluded why young-onset colorectal cancer is on the rise, but the Alliance is funding research to help find out.

Mitch and Jason have survived colon cancer - mainly because we were lucky and caught it early. Help us spread the word to get screened. You can also help by a generous donation that will help to conduct research and providing assistance to those in financial need.

Join us in a kick-ball fundraiser to support the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and their efforts to end colorectal cancer in our lifetime.

The money we raise will fund vital programs to screen, care, and cure colorectal cancer, such as:
- Online patient navigation and support
- Resource helpline
- Screening and prevention grants
- Research into new treatments and a cure

We truly believe that together we will end colorectal cancer in our lifetime.

But we need your help.

Join us in the mission to end this disease by making a secure and tax-deductible online donation to our fundraiser. What you do today can save a life tomorrow.
Thank you!
