For four years, the Miss Juneteenth America Scholarship Pageantry Program® has brought American history to life through scholarships, leadership, cultural experiences, and the honoring of Unsung SheRoses whose stories continue to shape our nation.
Now, as we celebrate our 5th Anniversary in Mobile, Alabama, we invite you to be part of our largest Second Line Parade yet — a powerful community tradition where music, movement, and meaning come together in the spirit of freedom.

Reporter/Fill-In Anchor, WKRG News 5
Christina J. Harris is a Reporter and Fill-In Anchor at WKRG News 5 in Mobile, Alabama. A graduate of Florida International University with a degree in Digital Journalism and a minor in English, she brings a strong foundation in storytelling, communication, and community engagement.
Her experience includes reporting for Caplin News and interning with NBC 6 South Florida, along with international study in Seville, Spain focused on global communication strategies. Christina is also an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
Rooted in faith, family, and purpose, Christina brings energy, professionalism, and connection to every platform she serves — making her a meaningful voice to lead this 5th Anniversary celebration in Mobile.

Parade Route:
The parade will begin at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel (covered patio area) and wind through the historic streets of downtown Mobile, honoring the journey of freedom in a city rich with American history, before concluding at Sophiella Gallery for a post-parade reception with refreshments.
