About this event
Help MNP staff tag Monarch butterflies as they begin their migration to Mexico! Learn all about this beautuful creature and how to properly catch, tag, and release them. This program is open to all those 6 years old and older. Adults MUST be with their children at all times. We will be hiking around the Preserve, so we highly recommend dressing to go for a hike. Nets will be provided. Data will be uploaded to Monarch Watch. Meet at the garages next to the Education Center. We will leave the meeting spot around 1:15pm. This event will be canceled if it rains.
